Public Transport

Buses
The following routes stop at Aberaeron. The bus stop is located at the West end of ‘Square Field’. Walk a few metres South to the road junction, turn left, past the Newsagents, Black Lion Hotel and continue up to the next junction, the total distance is around 100 metres, look right and ‘Maglona’ is in front of you. The owners also own the properties either side of Maglona, Compton and Gelli Aur.

T5 – This route travels between Aberystwyth and Cardigan (onward to Haverfordwest) taking a detour through New Quay. Hourly service.

T1C – This route is a limited stop Aberystwyth – Cardiff – Aberystwyth. Once daily

T1 – This route travels to and from Aberystwyth, turning inland at Aberaeron and going through Lampeter, and terminating in Carmarthen. Hourly service

The nearest railway station is at Aberystwyth, 16 miles to the north of Aberaeron. Connecting buses and taxis are located at the railway station.

There is also a railway station at Carmarthen 32 miles to the south of Aberaeron. The T1/T1C bus route will bring you to Aberaeron.
